Zelex SLE Torsos 2, Shedoll 160D Tanya, SEDoll, 4Woods, & More

May is here, but unfortunately, not with a bang. Sex doll brands were mostly off on their Labor Day Golden Week holiday, which unsurprisingly, resulted in little-to-no news. However, the show must go on. This might be the shortest news post ever written, but there were still some things to see. Without further ado, let’s quickly breeze through the little news so I can get back to the Expedition. 😉

SE Doll

SE Doll shared new photos of their 161E Melody looking super sexy and sleek in this bikini race queen or grid girl outfit. So simple, yet one of their best sets in a while.

They also teased a robot head of Melody with AI chat features. It seems to be in the early phases with a generic voice, but it’s progress.

Zelex

If you remember Zelex’s SLE Torso Collection (from Oct 2024), they released a new version with arms and no legs. Previously, they were armless with the “stump legs” (which cut off above the knee) – so there are 2 changes here – which made them shorter (because the thighs are gone) and lighter except for the ZX91E (which is slightly heavier). They also cost the same as before at just under $1000, therefore still a great option for newcomers. It’s already available in the US, and they plan to launch in Europe in June.

Like with their original SLE Torso Collection launch, they unleashed a ton of photosets all-at-once. However, since they pretty much look the same as before, I’ll just quickly breeze through some of them. There were 14 photosets in total.

TOP-CYDOLL

Meanwhile, Top-Cydoll teased an upcoming Asian head called Shuyu, possibly the first-ever head with “acne” details. Although there isn’t that much acne (it’s just a few pimples and blemishes), it definitely makes her look more realistic. If you’re tired of dolls with perfect skin, this is a realistic detail that I wouldn’t have expected.

4Woods

Out of the blue, the industry veteran, 4Woods, returned with a new makeup style (Makeup 4) for their Lyn head. Taken with what looks like the same camera they’ve been using for the last 20 years, she looks pretty cute. I doubt this will revive their brand, but apparently, they’re still alive and kicking.

SHEDOLL

Shedoll released a new head called Tanya (or Jiang Xiaotang). Another classic cute face, with pretty eyes and a cat theme.

They also released a new TPE 160cm D-cup body, shown with the Tanya head above. Looks like skinny bodies are still trending as the latest body is both toned and slim. However, it’s TPE, so it’s still somewhat heavy at 34 kg (75 lbs) without the head.

Firefly Diary

Last but not least, Firefly Diary brought back their hybrid 159cm Liuli in pink pajamas. Reminiscent of their 2024 Guangzhou expo booth, these are pretty cute photos.

Fanreal (Last Minute Addition)

Hold the presses for one more piece of news! After several complaints, Fanreal optimized their Maria ROS head to better resemble the hard version (non-ROS). This was a rather common complaint in the beginning, and they finally listened. Now, I think her mouth looks noticeably better (perkier) and more natural than before.

Conclusion

That wraps up a very short week of sex doll news. Considering there was a 5-day holiday in China, it wasn’t completely unexpected. Things have noticeably calmed down lately, but hopefully it’s just the calm before the storm. The most notable release this week was Zelex’s new variation of torsos. Since all SLE dolls are mass-produced and shipped to in-stock warehouses (not made on-order), it was surprising to see the same prices despite the tariffs. Though maybe it was shipped a long time ago, which is why they had 14 photosets ready to go. Additionally, it was interesting to see 4Woods still alive and breathing, though they still haven’t released anything new in a long time. Well, now that the Chinese holiday’s over, hopefully things pick up again next week. Until next time!
