Shortly after revealing their Chun Li-inspired figure (FG003), SGD Studio quickly returned with FG004: their 4th posable doll inspired by Resident Evil’s Ada Wong*. Similar to the previous FG003, she will stand at around 62cm tall. This time around, they invited “Mr. Zhou,” a 20-year veteran art designer, to oversee the FG004’s design, production, and quality control. Thus, raising the bar on their quality. For FG004, they have a few new upgrades including lighter weight (around 2.8 kg / 6 lbs), and a new “gear skeleton” for greater flexibility (and posability). And of course, they’ll still have their realistic silicone skin, “jelly chest,” self-developed eyeballs, implanted hair, and custom-tailored outfits.
Note: The presale period runs from April 30 – May 7, 2025, with expected delivery in Q4 2025. For now, they only shared a few photos, and will show more after the presale period ends.

SGD Studio quickly made a name for themselves with all the gaming-inspired figures and dolls lately. The latest one will surely be a winner as well – they know which popular characters to pick. Despite the cute face aesthetic that they’re known for, I think she does resemble Ada. The leggy body and fit proportions definitely stand out for all the right reasons. However, I personally think that they showed too little this time – not even any nude photos. They’ve become confident that they’ll sell out, and they’re not wrong. Not only do they nail the design, but the photos and posing as well. As usual, the form-fitting costumes and accessories don’t disappoint, and early-bird/pre-sale customers supposedly also get a red cheongsam (dress), which isn’t shown. I was wondering where the iconic red dress was. Overall, this is another great addition for collectors.
Until May 7, 2025, you can pre-order this figure from your favorite vendor. Personally, I like Kumadoll, but the official SGD Studio website is a bit cheaper. Or is it FG Studio now? I still never found out why there are two companies and websites now. I’ll update this post when there are more photos and videos so stay tuned!
May 14, 2025: SGD Studio finally shared nude photos of the figure, to which, many people complained about the breast proportions. SGD said they’ll “accept [the] suggestions and continue to upgrade.” I guess we’ll see what happens next. They shouldn’t have waited until after pre-sales to reveal important details like this..

For anyone curious, I emailed out to the SGD support team and asked them more about the durability of the channel and if any improvements have been made from older models.
Short answer is they seem open to customers demand and feedback. Pretty quick to respond too (within an hour)

Is this brand really sex doll? I heard that the love hole is very tiny and super hard to insert?
Technically it’s a sex doll since it has a usable hole, and I have seen someone say they used it before. However, given the size of the figure, there’s a high chance of tearing or damage, so it’s really more of a collectible in the end. They’ve also gotten smaller too: Tifa was 79cm, 2B was 75cm, while Chun Li and Ada are 60cm/62cm, so the vaginas might have gotten smaller too. Personally, I wouldn’t get them for sexual purposes.
damn, I’m still recovering after buying their Chun Li doll. I guess SGD won’t change their business strategy any time soon. Their FOMO tactics are working so well for people like me. Chun li is already sold out
Correct me if I’m wrong, but what’s the point of making a limited edition and then not selling it anymore? I wasn’t interested, for example, but now I’m curious, I went to their website and I liked the figurine there, which is sold out. What’s the point of such an attitude, they’ll just be forgotten about them and that’s it.
I’m not really sure why. Maybe this is common in the figurine industry. Since they do all the implanted hair, styling, and makeup by hand, I’m guessing it’s easier to do them all at once (for example like 500 of them), and then move on to a new character for another 500 (rather than switching back and forth in between).
I agree, it seems like a waste of the molds and previous designs, though maybe they’ll re-release a previous character if the demand is high. Unfortunately, I don’t really know, but I think it’s common in the figurine industry to produce a certain amount once, then move onto the next design.
I wish the underwear was more elaborate. Plain white underwear doesn’t fit the character’s image.
SGD Studio is starting to become one of my favorite manufacturers. Something about these smaller limited figures really catches my eye lol.

I agree. They’ve always been kind of vague, but choosing to share more photos and videos only after the presale ends is weird. Basically, expecting people to jump in blind. I expect that they will deliver though, but yeah.. their marketing could be better.

Yeah, Ada is an interesting choice. I’m just surprised and somewhat disappointed that they showed so little. Only a small teaser for their presale.
