Originally, I planned to scrap this post (I’ll explain why later), but I’ll post it anyway. Keep in mind, I’m just sharing this for fun, and not as any form of promotion or endorsement.

While scouring the web for sex doll news recently, I kept coming across a brand called Mengdao AI Doll. Maybe it was the “AI” in the name that made me hesitate – leading me to dismiss them – but in reality, they have neither AI technology nor AI-generated photos. Maybe they put “AI” in their name just to look cool.

Since some of their photos look nice, let’s check them out them for fun, if nothing else. I also realized that they were at the 2024 Guangzhou Expo, so they’ve established some kind of presence at least. Putting together this post, I did some digging and found out some not-so-good things, but more on that later. In a nutshell, there’s a factory that makes budget silicone dolls, and Mengdao is one of the various brands that carry them – so they’re not really an original brand. Therefore, I planned to delete this post, but since I already put in the effort, enjoy it anyway. Maybe one day, it’ll be useful if they ever launch in the West.

169cm Ali

Mengdao has been ramping up their promotion lately, and I thought this doll stood out the most. Not sure how much editing goes into their photos, but it’s not AI-generated at least, but I also doubt they come out of the factory looking this good.

159cm Yinyin

Another pretty Asian doll. You can never go wrong with the bikini racer outfit, which always looks good on them.

168cm Meiyun

A more mature and sophisticated-looking Asian head.

169cm Meisha

This appears to be the same body as the previously-shown 169cm Ali, but the camera angles make her look much thicker.

168cm Meiyao

I like the exotic princess theme here, despite thinking this was a Wonder Woman cosplay at first.

155cm Meixi

A doe-eyed girl in some classy photos.

They also have their fair share of cuter heads (indicated by “Meng” in the name), which we’ll get to next.

These photos seem to have a much stronger filter or photo-editing than before. Typical schoolgirl photos for Asian brands.

Now, this is the doll that opened up the rabbit hole. I’ve seen this doll many times before, leaving a trail that points in endless different directions. Some vendors (mainly sketchy one) have her listed as Youqdoll or DL Doll (both of which sell knockoff TPE dolls along with silicone dolls), or just no brand. My guess is they’re all sourcing from the same factory, which I identified as Jinduwei (as shown at Mengdao’s expo booth). However, it’s still interesting to follow the trail of this doll to find out more info..

148cm Mengyin

Last, here’s one of their anime dolls, also one that I’ve seen before. This one didn’t give any clues like the one before and honestly made things more confusing.

Conclusion

That wraps up a quick look at this random brand that kept popping up lately – just a few of their many, many dolls. Originally, this was just a “fun look” because they only sell domestically in China. However, going down the rabbit hole, these dolls also appear under other brands (like Youqdoll), which are sold globally. Nevertheless, I haven’t found a reputable site that carries them since they’re a lesser-known budget brand. From the few Jinduwei reviews that I found, they seem mixed. Some people said they’re decent budget dolls, while others complained of poor customer service (one person said they have “a reputation of garbage customer service”) and the dolls may not match the photos. If you look up “Jinduwei,” you’ll come across an outdated website and some AIO dolls on Moon-doll, which probably come from that factory.

Overall, this was supposed to be a fun post out of curiosity, but more research took it in a different direction. I’ll post it anyway, but you’re probably unlikely to come across them. But, maybe one day they’ll come to you (to the West). Whether the quality is good or not, they seem to be curating some of the better-looking dolls in Jinduwei’s catalog.
